Once pulled over police approach Client’s vehicle observed Client to have slurred speech bloodshot watery eyes and they detect an odor of alcohol coming from the vehicle. Woonsocket Police pull Client’s vehicle over for a tail light infraction. Upon approaching the driver’s side of the car, police observe Client to have bloodshot/watery eyes, slurred speech and an odor of alcohol coming from his breath despite having gum in his mouth. Client exits the vehicle and is unsteady on his feet. Police do not conduct any field sobriety tests due to the Client’s condition. Client gets to the station and agrees to take the breathalyzer test with readings of .165 and .178

Police Report:
An anonymous caller driving behind Client’s vehicle calls the South Kingstown Police to report she is behind a drunk driver. The caller follows Client, relaying their location to the police until Client is eventually stopped. Police approach Client’s vehicle and immediately observe an open container of alcohol in the center console and the strong odor of alcohol coming from Client’s breath. Client exits the vehicle and stumbles to the back of his car where he takes and fails 3 field sobriety tests. Client admits to the police that “he had a few”.

An off-duty Newport cop is traveling behind Client’s vehicle and observes it to “be all over the road”. He contacts the Newport police who locate Client’s vehicle and witness the car run a stop sign. Police stop Client’s vehicle and observe Client to have a strong odor of alchohol, bloodshot/watery eyes and slurred speech. Client takes 3 field sobriety tests, and police find 12 empty beer cans in car along with a half-full bottle of vodka in the center console.

While speaking with Client, police detect a strong odor of alcohol on Client’s breath, bloodshot/watery eyes and severely slurred speech. Client takes and fails three (3) field sobriety tests including the HGN, Walk and Turn, and One-Legged Stand. Client takes the breathalyzer at the Station and blows a .151.

Police arrive and after speaking with Client detect a moderate odor of alcohol, bloodshot and watery eyes and slurred speech. Client takes the breathalyzer test at the station with results of .196.

Police Report:
Client is observed by Warwick Police to drive through a stop sign. Client then leads police on a chase which ends in an accident with a tree after refusing to stop for their flashing lights. Police observe Client to have an odor of alcohol, bloodshot/watery eyes and fought with the police at the scene. Client is arrested and transported to the hospital where he consents to a blood test showing both alcohol and marijuana in his blood.

After approximately 45 minutes, the police find the vehicle and pull Client’s car over. Upon approaching the driver’s side window, police immediately smell a strong odor of alcohol, bloodshot eyes and slurred speech. Client takes and fails 2 field sobriety tests. At the station, Client agrees to take the breath test with the results being .106 and .111.
